PC Housecalls was started in 1996 by Steve Zuhlke (Steve Z.), an experienced computer expert with a dream to offer computer users a different kind of computer service. His goal was to create a company that always puts the customers’ needs first. So PC Housecalls became one of the first computer repair companies in Indianapolis to offer the convenience of going to customers’ computers, rather than making customers bring their heavy, bulky computers to us. We were also among the first to offer computer service 7 days a week, because we know how much our customers rely on their computers. And we are still one of the only computer service companies that requires our technicians to communicate in clear, simple language that makes technical information easy to understand, even for new computer users. Today, we’ve expanded our services to include everything from computer service & repairs, to the design and set up of home networks. (Whole House Wireless is our specialty) We're experts with digital music players like iPods®, and digital video recorders such as TiVo®. We are still happy to travel to customers’ homes, but we have also partnered with The TechStop Corp. to provide easily accessible drop off centers for our customers convenience. This offers a highly economical option for those who don’t mind bringing their computer to us. Although we’ve grown in size and scope, we’ve never lost our desire to be the company that always puts the customer first. That’s why humans have always answered our phones during business hours and always will. Where other computer service companies present themselves as ‘geeks’, ‘nerds’ or ‘doctors’, the Technicians and Engineers with PC Housecalls and our partners have always prided ourselves on being friendly, courteous, and easy to talk to.
